Neiman~Marcus, Neiman-Marcus, NeimanMarcus....The problem started back in the late 80's early 90's with the personal computer...the computer and DOS in general did not like the tilde (you know, the cute, little wavey-hyphen thingey)...well, Kinkos and what-not could no longer print business cards with a tilde---ya' had to switch to a hyphen. Now, poor NeimanMarcus can no longer show the joining of Carrie Neiman with what's his name Marcus (not Stanley, but his dad)...so for a while, if you spelled it right, the computer said "Wrong"...They do say that language is a constantly evolving thing...sheesh! The tilde is such a pretty substitution for a hyphen...oh well...time marches on...
