Labor Day Vacation
In honor of hard-working Americans (and undocumented aliens) across the fruited plain, this blog will be on vacation until Labor Day has passed. Speaking of which, if any of you are traveling by air this weekend and need to use the airport restroom, remember to check first and make sure there are no elected officials lurking in or near the stall you've selected. If you don't have a choice on seating (and who really does these days), remember this...don't tap your feet, snap your fingers or wave your hands. You could wind up out of office.

i watched Senator Craig's resignation speech. it's a shame that society makes people deny their sexuality.
Come on. Had he come out and said he was gay, he would have had to leave, but not looking so clueless. The trouble wasn't him denying his sexuality, but embracing it in an airport restroom.
that is exactly what i am saying. he cannot admit to himself that he is gay. had he been able to do so, he could have been living an openly gay life while serving in the senate.
Ah, c'mon, it's a repulsive way to meet people! Couldn't he have met someone during the intermission of "Au Cage au Faux" or some higher Kennedy Center entertainment? Such low level activity!
